ILG Parachute Jump for PWSA
On Sunday 14th March 2010, five brave members of ILG took part in a sponsored parachute jump to raise money for the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association.
The five who jumped were Marina (Finance team), Paul (Harefield Lodge), Cheryll (BSR team), Caroline (Bank staff) and Michelle (Lower St Helens).
The jump took place at the Skyline centre in Oxford, and the team couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day. The sun was shining and all involved had a fantastic day.
When talking about her experience, Caroline said - "It was an unexplainable feeling, as you are coming down it takes your breath away and when you reach the ground you just want to do it all over again. It was a fantastic experience with the added bonus of raising money for the charity and making new friends. It was truly amazing."
Michelle also loved the experience - "The day was incredible. Thank you to the PWSA for this opportunity and to friends and family for your support both financially and physically on the day, it made the day extra special."
Overall the ILG team raised around £1,500 for the charity.
